By car, you can reach Groß Schwansee from Hamburg in about 1 1/2 hours.
By train, it is best to travel to Travemünde Harbour and then take the ferry to Priwall. From there, it is about 30 minutes on the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route to Groß Schwansee. There is even an on-demand bus service line 80) from Priwall to Groß Schwansee. The on-demand bus runs at fixed times and can be booked by telephone directly with NAHBUS on 03881/78880 or online.
